Therapy is an Investment in your Health
The cost of a therapy session depends on a variety of factors, including length of time and methods used. I will make recommendations based on your treatment goals, but you will have complete control over how frequently you attend and for how long. During your initial phone consultation, I will be happy to discuss what you can expect to pay based on your unique treatment goals.
Cost and availability of coaching sessions varies. Contact Journey Well for details.
I am in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield and United Health Care (Optum). Before initiating services, please call your insurance to determine what the cost of each appointment will be, any applicable co-pay or co-insurance, etc. You will be expected to pay at time of service. I accept cash, check, Venmo, Cash App, or Paypal.
If I am not in-network with your insurance provider, your insurance coverage may provide Out of Network (OON) benefits. I will be happy to provide you with a superbill (receipt) with appropriate details necessary for you to request reimbursement from your insurance carrier. You could receive full reimbursement, partial reimbursement, or none. The decision to submit claims to your insurance for therapy appointments is up to you.
Before initiating services, I would recommend asking your health insurance or employee benefit plan the following questions:
Do I have mental health benefits?
What is my deductible and has it been met?
What is the coverage amount per therapy session?
Is approval required from my primary care physician?
