Mindfulness Practice is for Everyone
Mindfulness is as easy and as difficult as staying in the present moment. We all must practice this on a daily basis in order to befriend ourselves and what we experience. While many of us may only find a few moments here and there to be present, it's time well spent for a calm and productive day, or to relax the body and mind for rest.
If you struggle with depression, staying in the present can help you to avoid dwelling on the past, reigniting the pain that you've already been through. If your days are spent in fear and anxiety, your mind filled with thoughts of what could happen some day, staying in the now can help you stop wasting energy on things that haven't even happened yet. Many of our private fears never happen at all.
Learn to be mindful with the guidance of a trained therapist and you can make it a part of your everyday life.
